Temperatures can range anywhere from 23-36☌ (70-97☏) and when you combine that with the super high humidity levels, it can feel like you’re constantly in a warm and sweaty hug. Okay, so Dallas in the summertime is no joke.

Dallas summer events can be found around every corner from live music to rodeos to fireworks displays. Summer in Dallas also signals a ton of great festivals and gigs all across the city. From the beautiful Klyde Warren Park to the rugged walls of Lake Mineral Wells, there are so many green and blue spaces in the heart of Dallas to enjoy the summer sunshine. Personally, I love cities that have a ton of outdoorsy activities either in the city itself or on its doorstep. Whether you love spending time in the great outdoors, want to hit up some of the best eateries in the city, or just hang out and enjoy the distinct North Texan culture, Dallas in summer can deliver it all and more.
#BEST THINGS TO DO IN DALLAS TEXAS FULL#
Cotton Bowl, are you reading any of this? Very ADA friendly.Looking for the best things to do in Dallas in summer? From the beautiful Klyde Warren Park to visiting Fort Worth, this is what to do in Dallas!Īs one of the biggest cities in the whole of the US, Dallas is full of amazing activities and places to visit during the summer months. Very clean, cool, well managed, well staffed, great sound, traffic well managed, lots of people directing traffic. It even made me appreciate living in Dallas, for a little while. I’m very impressed with this venue and cringe at all the events we’ve missed there because of my first experience. Lots of vendors throughout and it smelled so good. The bathrooms were easily accessible and clean. The employees, all of them we encountered, were awesome. I didn’t have to worry about steps, or about not being able to see, or about somebody bumping into my knee. Then our escort, I think Linda S, escorted us back to our section. They escorted us to the front desk where a very kind young lady, I think her name was Brittany, traded my tickets in for ADA seats. The staff were so thoughtful and helpful. But when I see the steps, reality bites me and I realize I can’t go there. My companion can push me to the section and I just climb down a bunch of steps. Have such great seats, I can do those steps, surely. AA says they’ll store my chair if I can get to my seat. My tickets are not accessible seats though. This time, I’m in a wheelchair due to knee surgery. Bought some other cities too, tried to sell these last minute but deal fell thru. Omg they are too good to let slip thru my fingers. I go on out of curiosity to see what seats I can get. Now suddenly Depeche Mode are playing here and I’ve got the presale code. Next 13 years, we traveled coast to coast to see concerts but never considered going back to AA. Sucked, isolated, beer gone and trouble breathing. It was difficult to breathe in there (thanks asthma) and my inhaler was in separate section with my family. Couldn’t take our beers outside, idk, large craft beers maybe $20 each? DFD cleared it, show was allowed to continue.

Something went wrong with the pyros and our section (maybe everyone) had to evacuate quickly because smoke alarms were going off. We purchased two very expensive beers and the concert started. I used to dislike this place so much that I promised myself to never return, and didn’t for 13 years! Reason being, went to Roger Waters The Wall concert in 2010, the parking was a nightmare and we were seated on a private/separate level, not accessible to anyone not on that level.
